This policy sets out what we will and will not run outbound campaigns for. It forms part of every client agreement, and we apply it without exception — including to work we would otherwise be paid for.
Every campaign we operate is built to comply with applicable law in the markets it targets, including CAN-SPAM in the United States, PECR and the UK GDPR in the United Kingdom, the EU GDPR, and CASL in Canada. In practice that means:
We use business contact data obtained from legitimate providers and public professional sources. We do not use purchased consumer lists, breached data, or scraped personal email addresses.
We set sending volumes based on domain health, not client urgency. We will not raise volume past what infrastructure can safely support, skip domain warm-up, or send cold campaigns from a client's primary domain, regardless of deadline pressure.
If a client asks us to breach this policy, we will decline and explain why. Continued insistence is grounds for us to end the engagement, with fees for work already performed remaining payable.
If you have received a message you believe breaches this policy, email mail@techtorq.com and we will investigate and suppress the address immediately.
